Permanent Cosmetic Eyeliner

 Permanent Eyeliner is done utilizing topical anesthetics. This lessens the pain sensation, and we find that eyeliner actually is less painful than eyebrow tattooing. The permanent eyeliner procedure usually takes 1.5- 2 hours, of which tattooing usually takes up 1 hours. Because of the nature of the procedure, swelling will occur around the tattoo area.  Each person's tissue swells differently. Swelling too quickly makes the tissue less presentable for implanting the pigments.  If this happens, then we just have to do more on touch up at 8 weeks after the initial procedure. Usually right after the procedure, clients will think that they have too thick of an eyeliner. Clients that have permanent eyeliner will find that 4-6 days after the initial procedure, they will experience a sloughing of color at the eyeliner site.  This is a normal and expected occurrence. After initial sloughing, clients will then have an idea of how much pigment has taken, however, full normalization of pigment implant wont take place for 3-4 weeks, with tissue healing by week 8. 

Tattoo Permanent Lip Liner

 Many people ask what happens if you get tired of the permanent lip color and want to change?  At Face Wurks we work to provide you with a pigment shade that suits your skin tones.  Some people wear a shade of lipstick that doesn't compliment their skin tones and features.  We want to provide you with a lip color that is complimentary.  If you have the desire to wear different colors, it is always easy to just place regular lipstick over your permanent lip color.  As women get older, they typically benefit from more color on their faces.  Trends in lipstick shades that are in vogue change with the season. You can still wear these without problems.  The only difference?  If you have permanent tattoo lip color, then you start the day fresh, finish meals with your lip color not smeared, and always have fresh makeup even during intense athletic activities. 

Permanent Eye Brows

We all know how eyebrows shape the face and change the appearance of the eyes. Well not everyone was blessed with eyebrows like Hollywood celebrities.  Tired of penciling?  Tired of smearing?  Modern cosmetic tattooing techniques can place permanent eyebrows, with pigment to compliment your skin tones and existing hair color.  Techniques have advanced since 15 years ago.  Now tiny hair-like stokes create a more natural looking eyebrow.  Placement of pigments can recreate an eyebrow that is gone, or compliment one that still exists.  Permanent eyebrows are done utilizing topical anesthetics. It is important to understand that anytime permanent makeup is applied, our desire is to provide an enhancement of your natural features.  We recommend conservative initial applications. Darkening and increase pigment application can always be applied at the traditional 6 week re-check /touch up session.  Anytime permanent makeup of any kind is applied, it is common to be perceived as dark and dramatic.  The traditional healing process almost always leads to a partial density fading. We find most clients are wanting more pigment application at 6 week follow up.
